I’ve been forged in the white hot heat of passion
I’ve been annealed and tempered in the furnace of Despair
I’ve been honed and sharpened by teacher Pain
I’ve spent time amid the homeless
And written poems with the insane
I am the cylinder that misfired
Pointed at my head
I am the broken rope
Wealed and congealed
Upon my throat
Even Death rejects me
I am the scarred man
The imperfect creature
Funnels run down my cheeks
Home for familiar tears
While you are edging your lawn this weekend
And putting down the weed and feed
Know we are out there
Watching…
Waiting…
Feeling
Crying…
Knowing…
Living…
Dying…
We are the imperfect Creatures
God’s abandoned Children
And we are everywhere

*sigh* yes… everywhere…I really feel this one Quas. I think I’m an abandoned child too.
I’m so glad to see you writing again. I know it’s a lot of work setting up the site but it turned out very cool… I love it!
Is there somewhere to sign up for this site so I don’t have to type all my info in every time I wanna leave a comment cuz… you know I’m gonna leave a comment…

Thanks Jo, Appreciate it. Hope all is well down South.
And you are nothing short of fucking fantastic. Every word, rhythm from start to finish and every breath in between was complete perfection. And I am not just saying that. This is and possibly will always be my favorite of yours.
So many lines with such an enormous amount of meaning to them all.
Ah…thank you Tammy you are always too good for me
PS…
meant to say that the link from myspace is a great idea. People will follow.
